Ryan Wesley Clark

I am a nonprofit professional with experience in online editorial.

In addition, I have experience in copywriting, digital marketing, test prep tutoring (especially GRE), and freelance journalism (book reviews).

I taught English as a Foreign Language in China and Taiwan in 2004, and I taught Intro to Literature courses to university students at the University of Iowa between 2006 and 2009.

In my fiction, I write about relationships between young men and women, professional life, California, San Francisco, Iowa City, Brooklyn and Manhattan, Portland, OR, the Internet, music culture, wealth created by technology, loneliness, love, families, animals, and the suffering of outsiders.

I am at work on a book of short stories I plan to finish in 2023. I am located in the Pacific Northwest (Portland, Oregon.)
